Hello,

I have replaced the climate control panel for the twice already in the last year and the blower motor 3 times and I am still having problems getting the vent to work at all. I haven't yet replaced the blower motor resister since I've researched and found out that the blower motor resister is in need of replacing if the fan is blower only at one or two speeds or is blowing at one speed only but mine doesn't work at all.

Does someone know how I can get the vent to start blowing again and have it blow through the panel instead of the defroster and floor once I get the blower motor to start working at all again?

The last time the blower was working I tried to block the air from coming out of the defroster and floor to with tshirts and paper towels to no avail. Now after trying that the blower isn't working at all. I've since replaced it with a new blower motor but it still isn't working. Could this have something to do with the vacuum lines? I've recently had the fuel injector o rings replaced and the vacuum lines were broken in the process and replaced but I suspect that they weren't connected back correctly. After connecting what I thought to be a vacuum hose to an empty connector the blower stopped working. It could be a conincidence but I doubt it. Please let me know what I can do to fix this problem with the blower. Thank you for your help.

I think you have a couple problems here. First, if the blower motor isn't working, have you checked to see if it is getting power? Also, as far as the air distribution, you are looking for a vacuum leak. Chances are it is either under the dash or along the firewall where it comes through to make its way to the engine.
