Do I require any special tools to the remove starter motor, How difficult a job is it.

No "specialty" tools. Obviously, you will need a jack and jack stands, a 3/8" ratchet with set of metric sockets and some screw drivers.

If you need instructions, please specify what engine size you have. 3.0L, 3.3L, or 3.8L V6
