Town driving, the engine over heats. Suspect controls for temperture control. Are the fans supposed to cycle whenever the ac is functioning? Thanks! VM.

Check for power and ground at the coolant fan motor with the ac on if no power
check the fuses and relay
fan should come on after the AC clutch kick in

u can run a fused wire and check the fan motor this way too

good luck
