1995 Chrysler Cirrus Engine problem

I have a 1995 chrysler cirrus lx and it takes about 7 tries to start my car before it even tries to start then once its running the cooling fans comes right on and the hot light comes on but the engines not hot right a way some one told me that its the computer and im confused to whats the problem can u help me please and thank you for your time and concern

It could have something to do with the computer, but I would start by having the temp sending unit checked / replaced. If it is bad, it could send a false signal to the computer.

Let me know what you find.
