I was driving my car it shut off had a heck of a time for it to start again. It kept shutting off and it loses power, then I pulled over it shut off would not start back up. It tried to start. Had it towed home started and it was knocking now it shut off and tried to start it again and it was turning over, but now it just makes a clicking sound like the battery is drained. Did my car blow up?

It sounds like the motor is locked up. I would suggest starting with checking the oil and see if there is anything in there and if you see any metal in it when you drain it.

Then we need to put a socket on the crank pulley nut (#3 below) and try to turn the motor over by hand. You can actually do this first if you want to but if you cannot spin the motor by hand then it is locked up and needs to be replaced. I am pretty sure this is what you are going to find based on what you stated.

Let us know what you find with this. Thanks
