Camshaft sensor

Basically after fixing the cut cable on the cam sensor the car starts on the first kick but idles badly and stalls. There is some fuel smell like the catalytic converter is blocked.
But once I disconnect the sensor the car has a hard start, but idles fine.

Hello,

It sounds like you got the wiring mixed up. Here is the engine wiring diagrams so you can double check your work. Is there a check engine light on?
