Where do you find out what codes mean. Such as check engine light flashing on and off right after you start engine.
Also having problem with rough start.

Have the codes read, Autozone does it free, Post the results with the code number(s). Even if the service engine light is not on, there should be freeze frame data stored.
If it won't make it to Autozone, buy a cheap scanner, they can be had for 30-40 dollars, a good investment, since they cover all cars sold in the USA from 96 on.

Thanks I will try to go to Autozone.

Any ideas about the rough start. It acts like an older car that we would say cold natured.

Hard startying can be anything from a bad Engine coolant temp sensor, to a vacuum leak, stuck egr or bad idle air control, but hopefully the codes will point us in the right direction!
