2005 Chevy Impala heater controls

My a/c works great but when I go to heat it only blows hot on passerager side. Blows cold on drivers side. It has slide controls for temp. Cold down/hot up. If I move pass. Side slider up heat works down cold works. If I move drivers side slider up it blows cold if I move slider down it also blows cold. Is there something I need to check? Don't know much about the newer cars

I have a 2004 Chevy Impala and my car does the same EXACT thing. I asked someone at a shop once and he said it might be the control module ($400-$600 to replace).

But I joined this forum to see if anyone else knew what was going on.

I feel your pain/frustration/disappointment.

I too have 2004 impala that has that same problem. I wish I knew someone who knew what the problem was. Has anyone figured it out yet?
