I have a chevy monte carlo ls with 115k miles on it. Recently it has been stalling and sometimes backfires for about for the first few minutes it is running wether the engine is worm or not, then runs fine but seems to lose power from time to time. Also the check engine light has came on and the codes read bad o2 sensors, which I replaced and reset the coeds and it came back on and read the same thing. I hae also replaced the plugs and plug wires, ignition coils, and mass air flow sensor. What could be the problem?

What codes were they for the o2 sensors? Lean, shorted? Seen problems with the cat converters on those Monte's. How is the fuel pressure?

The guy at the repair shop never told me if it was running rich or lean. He just said they were bad and I had the fuel system pressure cleaned about six months ago. I plan on getting the fuel pressure tested and replacing the fuel pressure regulator today
