When im just sitting still the heater will heat the car for a little while but the temp gauge will lower as I sit and when im driving the temp gauge will stay cool and I dont have heat. Ive replace the water pump, thermastat, flushed the radiator and had the air pockets removed from the radiator. After removing the air pockets the heater work for a couple days then started acting up again.

When the car is at temperature, are the heater hoses going to and leaving the heater core hot, warm different, same?

Are you losing any coolant? That is have you checked the level?
