Hi:
Open the hood and check vacuum hoses to make sure none are disconnected or broken. You can start the engine and listen for them too. They will make a hissing sound.
As far as fuel pressure, most nationally recognized parts stores will lend or rent the pressure gauge. All you do is hook it to the fuel rail and start the car. IT will regiester the pressure.
