1986 Chevy Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

in the past 2 weeks my truck has burned out 3 ignition modules. This last one last 2 days and I had replaced the capacitor/condesser along with it. I have been applying the grease that comes with it. Please help me if u can

You may have a bad pickup coil in the distributor. If you go to the site here and look under repairs then tune up there is a step by step instruction on how to check your system. It may be to much voltage. But check it out it will show several systems and you take the one that corresponds with yours.
