1986 Chevy Truck deiseling

What causes the deiseling the most. I got this truck and it did it really bad ! So I rebuit the carb and it runs 10 times better but after a good run ---- its a dump truck c 30
so after a good run around I go to stop and it deisels pretty good. The idle is fast, havent checked the timming yet but cap, rotor, plugs and wires are new, just hate this deiseling thing

The dieseling is caused by your high idle. Fix the high idle and your dieseling should go away. Hope this helps
