I bought a new fan clutch (OEM). I blow fuses immediately. I looked over the wiring and noticed that on the new clutch the wires dont match up to the vehicles. On my new clutch the wires are 5 in all on a 6 plug connector, colors in order, from left to right, yellow, brown, blue, black, red and blank. On the vehicle the wires are 5 in all on a 6 plug connector, colors in order, from left to right, gray/white, blue, gray, black, white and blank. Do anyone know what colors go where, cause a tech told me the ground wire is shorting somewhere and my feeling lies with the new clutch wiring. What do you think?
