2003 Chevy Trailblazer Blower motor resistor

I am attempting to install a blower motor resistor to fix the fan for my heater/ac control. I need to know where this part is located on my trailblazer in order to remove and replace the broken resistor. The fan control has 5 settings and each setting quit working over time until finally the last setting stopped functioning. I was told replacing this part would repair the problem. PLEASE HELP

Welcome to the forum. It is a possibility, replacing the resistor assembly will fix it?
