The clutch pedal does nothing when the vehicle is running?

I have a 86 s10 blazer. The clutch pedal does nothing when the vehicle is running. I can start the vehicle by depressing the clutch and putting it in gear but than cannot shift gears once running? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

This happens when the clutch falls apart or the pilot bearing seizes up and will not allow the input shaft to stop spinning. Here is how to remove the transmission and clutch in the images below. These guides can help as well.
