Shakes or Wobbles problem
1997 Chevy Tahoe 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 108000 miles

i have a 1997 tahoe LT 4wd

Is it a 2WD or a 4WD? I'm lil confused here also is it a 6 or 8 cylinders-it makes a difference on parts/labor costs, also it varies with location from $70.00-$130.00 per hr labor-

The flexplate/flywheel is bolted on the rear of the crankshaft when the starter is engage it will turn the flexplate and turn the engine over

Don't know about 500 but that's because i've always done all my work myself, the flywheel isn't part of the transmission. The flywheel bolts on the the crankshaft at the rear of the motor, that's what your starter turns to get the engine started, also on a manual the clutch is mounted to it and on an automatic the torque converter mounts to it
