1997 Chevy Tahoe Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 97 Tahoe Lt. I replaced the fuel pump, fuel pump harness, and fuel filter in late Feb. Early March. Last week it started stalling when I was driving. I had to wait about 3-5 minutes and it would start right back up. Yesterday I didn't even get a 1/4 of a mile from home before it stalled. After about 5 minutes it started and then stalled twice before I got home. The fuel pump is fairly new. What could be the problem?

I had the same problem replaced fuel pump and about a month and a half latter had to replace it again it started to make that whirring noise again took to the shop were it was replaced and thats what they told me the fuel pump was faulty luckily were I got the part they warranted it and gave me replacment and the shop replaced for half the labour
