I have a 1995 Chevy Silverado K1500 4WD, 274000 km, 5.7 litre engine and 4L60E trans. My blower blows air through all the correct settings until the a/c and/or recirc is turned on. When this happens it will not blow through the vents. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is ahppening and how to correct this.
Thanks

I have the exact same truck and the exact same problem. I will let you know tomorow when I get a chance to fix it. But today I covered defrost vents with a towel. LOL

Sounds like you could have a broken vacuum line. Under the hood, trace any vacuum lines coming from the firewall area.
