Cluster Gauge problem: 2003 Chevy Silverado 3500 4X4 6.6

[/b]Have filed a Claim # with GM the Dash cluster gauge went out on my 2003 Silverado with only 57000 miles. At least I think that is what the problem is! Have checked all of the fuses, alll good.
Sometimes when I turn the truck on the gauges work other times nothing. Just moved to Fla. And haven't found a new dealer. Is this a problem that anyone else has had? It is hard to drive without knowing how fast you are going or if you have any fuel!

The batteries were down, but not down so truck wouldn't start. That caused the dash cluster to not work sometime. Got two new batteries and now truck runs great.
