2004 Chevy Silverado front right wheel bearing

2004 Chevy Silverado Four Wheel Drive Automatic 115000 miles

I am looking for some direction on replacing the front wheel bearing assembly on a 2500 Chev silverado is this a very detailed project. If possible I would appreciate any helpful tips or step by step advice.

It may not be a bad jov or it may be a real hasle if it doesn't want to come out.

Pull off the caliper and hang it from the spring with wire to protect the brake hose.
Remove the rotor.

Located and siconnect the abs wiring harness.

Remove the bolts from the knuckle that go into the hub assy.

IF all goes well the hub will slide out of the knuckle if it doesn't, I hope you have access to a air compressor and a air hammer. If not a regular hammer will probably work but may be a bear.

USe a chisel point first and try to wedge it between the knuckle and hub to see if it will separate. IF it does, pull it off and install the new one. IF you are not gaining ground, PArtially install one of the bolts that held the hub to the knuckle and strike the bolt to force out the hub.
