2004 Chevy Silverado BOSE STEREO

I've had the truck for one year. A few months ago the stereo sound would cut out for a second to a few minutes with no relation to how long it had been on on or any pattern as to length of time for sound or no sound. It has now been off (no sound) for two weeks (since last rain)
Any ideas where I should start looking?

It is unlikely that all of the speakers failed at the same time so the radio must be at fault.

I've had good luck with this company in the past with Bose radios.

You may find a company in your area that repairs radios.
