2004 Chevy Silverado 4WD wont engadge

I have a 2004 chevy silverado. The service 4wd lights has been coming on for awhile now and when I would turn the truck off and back on it would go off and I could use my 4wd. Now it doesnt come back on so I can select 4wd so I bought a new selector switch installed it and the service 4wd light is still on and I cant put it in 4wd. Help me

Did you check to see if you are getting power to the 4wd actuator on the transfer case?
