Recently put a Boss Power V Plow on my 03 Silverado 2500 HD truck. I found that the weight of the plow drops my truck to the point where I only have 4" of undecarriage clearnance.
One mechanic suggested installing a one ton suspension. Another suggested blocking the suspension to prevent the drop.
Looking for the best, long term solution to my problem.

OK I would buy a leveling kit and have it installed. With a leveling kit it will level the truck by doing that it will lift it about 2 inches or so and then with the plow on it will be only about 2 inches or so lower and you will not suffer your ride when the plow is off.
