Sometimes does not start right away?

The truck sometimes does not start right away. Sometimes it takes a few cranks before it starts, Sometimes it starts up right away.I put a new fuel filter in and a new fuel pump in dec2008. The new pump only has 19,000 miles on it.I also put in new platinum plugs in recently. Possible causes of it sometimes not starting right away? It does have a vaccum leak also

Hello,

Does is run smoothly when starts up?
If everything runs as it should, you might just have to do a tune up.
Basic tune up with new plugs, air filter and cleaning out of the throttle body, mass airflow sensor can really improve the overall drivability.
