Brakes problem
1997 Chevy Silverado V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a Chevy truck 1500 that in order to stop you have to press the brakes really hard. At first I thought it was because the rear brakes need to be adjusted. So I adjusted them and that didn't fix the problem. I recently replaced both rear wheel cylinders beacuse one started leaking fluid. I have no idea were to look or what I can do to fix this problem.

Are you getting proper vacuum assist from the brake booster? Sort of a hard peddle?

I replaced the brake booster vaccum line and that made now change. But after changing that line I noticed when depressing the brakes the mastercylinder makes like a swooshing sound
