1995 Chevy Silverado door locks and gas hand

Does anyone know why my truck will just lock and unlock its self while im driving or its just sitting there without the battery even on and also my gas hand doesnt work but all my other gauges work?

The switches in the 95s are notorious for having problems. It's pretty inexpensive to replace them and see if it stops. If not, the circuit is likely faulted somewhere. The circuit is slightly complicated and is proned to problems. I have many hours into tracing faults in this circuit and it can take a lot of patience and methodical testing to find the problem.
