I am trying to chang the high beam head light on my 94 1500 and I am unable to find an easy way to do it with out taking the grill off. Is there another way? I see tow hex screws on top do these have anything to do with the light assy. Thanks for your help

You should be able to access bulbs without removing the grill. On the pass side it will be easier to remove battery but other than that you should be able to access it. Hope this helps

Thanks for your help but there is sheetmetal behind the assy, there is space enough space to get the low beam out, but the high beam is unable to be reached that way.

Hey your right. You have to remove the grill. First remove turn signal lenses, because there are bolts behind there holding on grill. Also when disconnecting grill from the bumper fascia, its held there by push clips, you need to put a regular screwdriver between grill and fascia and it will undo clips and grill will come right out. The trickiest part is the piece behind bumper but its fairly easy just be patient. I hope this helps.

There is a better way. There are two long hex bolts on top of the light assy. They stick up about an inch one near the fender and another in the middle of the light. They take a 7 mm socket and you just take them out and the light assy. Will pull right out and you can change the bulb. Very easy
