Last night I went to turn off my truck but the key would not not turn back and shut the truck off. I then drove home and it was the same thing. I got my key out of the ignition but the switch would not turn back. The truck was still running and the only way I could get it to turn off was to pull the ign fuse and diconnect the battry. But it is still in the on position.

Ignition switch located on the steering column way down almost above the brake paddle
you have a link that connect the switch to a rotating ignition cylinder and key
I would suspect a broken ignition switch actuator rod
or a bad ignition cylinder
