Engine Performance problem
1992 Chevy Silverado Two Wheel Drive Automatic 232000 miles

My "check gages" light keeps coming on and off and my oil pressure drops to zero. I just put 2 liters in yesterday so im sure the oil is fine. What could be the cause?

Replace the oil pressure switch, its located at rear of engine next to distributor

When oil press. Drops does it start pinging if it does it might be the pump to thick of oil for winter
