Hi, I have a chevy silverado with a 5.7l v8. I recently changed altenator and serp belt. There is a whinning noise coming from that area, I changed both tension and idler pulleys and I still have the noises. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You think noise is coming from alt?
Dose whine get louder say if headlights or AC is turned on?
If so it could be rectrifer bridge or bearing.
Let me know

You welcome if AC has been converted to 134a maybe oil charge might quiet it down.
