I have a 89 c-1500 5.7l v-8 auto chevy pickup that leaks 2-3 drops of oil on the driver side around the wheel area after the truck has been driven I cannot find where the leak is coming from

Does it look like its coming from the top? Bottom of the engine?

What I would do, is clean the whole engine off with degresser/brake clean and run the vehicle. Hopefully you will see where the oil is dripping from without the disturbance of stop and go driving.

If you still can't find it, try putting some die in the oil and use a blacklight.

So there is no oil on the bottom of the cylinder head or top of the block? If not, it may be an oil pan gasket. But first clean the area off and run it. You'll see the leak start to drip
