Strange sqeeky sounds

I have a 1998 Chevy s-10 pickup truck and it has a kind of sqeeky sound when going down the road. I think it is the front brakes but I need some confirmation on that. Can someone help me?

The only answer to this one is, if the noise diminishes or goes away when you brake, then yes it could be!
Most garages will inspect brake at no charge or minor charge that is applied to the bill if you have the work done. GM has a tang on the outboard pad, when the pad wears thin, the tang touches the rotor and squeals!
