Problems Starting

When ever my 2000 chevy S-10 sits for a while it will have problems starting but when it does its fine. It will crank but will not fire up. I have changed the plugs and wires and have re-placed the fuel filter to but I was told that there might be another filter in the tank. I am courious on what it may be.

Do a fuel pressure check with a gauge this will help you determine problems within the fuel system such as pressure regulator/fuel pump/clogged up pick-up sock in the tank.

When you turn key to On position do you hear the fuel pump come On for 2secs?
