I have a 1998 chevy S10 V-6 with 65,000 miles I replaced the alternator, new battery and for some reason I can drive the truck come back and park it, go back to drive it and it won't start it will try to kick over but dies out then you smell gas like it's flooded. When we check the charge on the battery it's low charge this does not happen everyday but nor is it a weather factor either. Any suggestions as to what this may be?

Have you verified that it is charging at the battery with a meter? If it is then you have a huge draw. If there are any aftermarket electronics, I would start by unhooking them
