Recently had the whole distributor changed after changing the cap 3 times!
Now since the change in the distributor the service engine light keeps coming on. First it was the sensor of some sort, then the light came on again and it was the air flow sensor, then the light came on again which just happened to be that a pipe came undone. Now the light is on again. IS it possible that this new distributor is the cause of all this engine light goin on?
Frustated to no end!
Thank you

Just about anything can make the engine light go on, even a little dirt, try disconnecting the battery for about 5 minutes then reconnecting it, if there is any codes in it they will clear, then the vehicle will have to be driven avout 50 miles before the computer will completly rese, the vehicle will not have to br driven the 50 miles all at once but when it reaches 50 then the computer should have reset itsel, then if there is anything wrong the light will come back on. At which point then have the car scanned.

Try reseeting the computer. Most dealers don't advise this, but it works. Disconnect the battery for a few minutes. This will clear the computer. When you hook it back up then the vehicle should have reset the computer. If further problems have the trouble codes scanned.
