When I turn the key it'll turn over and fire off for about a second and then die. If I can get it to start it'll only stay running with my foot on the gas just enough to idle it. It drive and runs fine other wise. I replaced the TPS, the IACV acutates like its supposed to, it has a new fuel pump, filter, spark plugs and wires. I'm running out of ideas. So any help is welcome

Do you have a check engine light and when was your last tune-up?

Did you actually removed the IACV and clean out its passages thoroughly if so find the EGR valve and clean that out too and see what happens.

There is no check engine light. I sprayed the throttle body and the spot where the IACV goes in with gumout. Theres no EGR valve, they started that in late 01' I believe. It has the evap system.

If the IACV is functioning correctly-check the fuel pressure and test the MAP sensors-also check the TPS reference and signal voltages
