EVAP system vents fumes from tank back into intake system for emmissions purposes.

The light indicates a leak in system.

The EVAP system consists of solenoids and VSV (vacuum switching valves), so I would take to dealer or trusted garage for repair. They can test each solenoid or VSV and isolate problem.

This, in the long run, will be cheaper than throwing parts at it until you find the problem.
