Electrical problem
1997 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 120 k miles

1997 Chevy s10 pickup, 4.3vortec with manual transmission 4 wheel drive.
Truck starts intermittly. New battery, turns over fine but will only start when it feels like it. New cap and rotor, new wires and plugs. Check engine light not on. Also 3 out of 4 02 sensors replaced as they were reading bad when the engine light was on.
What Im asking is why will it spin over fine, and not start, but I will jump it with our car and it wil catch. Also, it is likely to start back up again when warm, But try it the next day, and more often then now it wont fire. What difference is there when I jump start it that it will start?
Driving me nuts. Appreciate very much any help you good folks might have to offer,

What changes when you hook up the jumper cables?

Does it crank over faster then?

Obviously if adding more battery causes the car to start, then you likely don't have enough battery to start with.

It doesnt spin over any faster. The battery is brand new, and I know the one it replaced was fine. I know how an engine sounds with a sluggish battery, and this turns over fine. This is driving me crazy.
And, why would it start when warm after jump starting? Appreciate your input.

I've already given you my input. If a jump start gets it started, then it's a battery voltage issue. It could have something draining the battery or it could be that the started is just asking for too much current but either way, insufficient battery is the issue.
