1995 Chevy S-10 Starting

After turning the truck off too put fuel in it, I returned to start it and it did not make a sound. Turning the key does nothing but everything lights up as it should. There have been a few instances where the battery seemed weak in the last month or so. I had jumper cables attached still with absolutely no sound.I just extended the warranty to 340 000km would something like this be covered. I haven't even received the information package yet.

It sound like the starter is hanging up. When this happens have someone turn the key and hold it and slide underneath with a hammer and tap the starter (not very hard) or find it from above, under the hood and slide a broom handle into the starter casing and it should start. If not, there may be a bad connection to the starter or on it. The ignition circuit may have a fault, but yes your warranty will cover this.
