I have a 95 Chevy S-10 and as of last week, the brakes started going to the floor. My husband has been trying to fix this. Two of the back brake lines were rusted and leaking, so he replaced them and then bled all the brake lines. Now the brake pedal is hard when the car is off and seemingly works fine, but as soon as the car is turned on, the brakes still go to the floor. My husband removed the hose for the vaccum booster, and that made the brakes feel fine again when the car was running, but as soon as he put it back on, the brakes went back to the floor.

Any ideas?

Make sure the rubber hoses going to the front calipers are not expanding when you hit the brakes. If you can not find any other leaks and the rubber hoses are good, chances are the master cylender is bad.
