I own a 1963 Chevy C-10. With 350,000 miles

Bought a new set of locks (doors, glove, and ign.)

How do you remove the Ign. Tumbler?

Well ignition switch. As you know. Is on the dashboard. The chrome trim bezel has two small holes in the face. Some told me you use a paper-clip, insert in thru the bezel and it releases the tumbler.

My question is this. Do you need the current key to remove the tumbler?

I have NO keys for the truck (obviouslym or a wouldn't be doing this) The igniton does move to all positons except lock.

Thanks again for your help.

The thing is, I already bought a complete lock kit from The Truck Shop. Which consist of four new tumblers.(Both doors, the ignition, and the glovebox). I have a universal igniton as well. Matter of fact its an all brass one. Same one I use in my jet-boat. But I would rather keepth OG one. Thanks for your help. I do have the bezel with the two holes. I try it. Thanks.
