2001 Cheverolet Cavalier with 136,000 on 2.4L engine. The blower motor for the heat/AC is starting to go out. First the motor would not run/blow on the lowest setting. Now the medium-low setting does not run. The motor runs fine on medium-high and high. Any ideas? A guy at a dealership mentioned a resistor. If so, is it a pain to repair myself or is it better to have professionals do the work?

I am not that familiar with the alarm system, but isn't there a "reset" button?

It shouldnt be too hard to replace, just remove screws unplug it, and replace it. This part should be situated under the hood by the blower fan motor.
