Colorado with intermittent starting problems

I have a 2007 Chevy Colorado, 4 cylinder. Occassionally, it will crank and stutter like it is getting no fuel. But returning the key to the off position and retrying, it starts up perfectly everytime. Does anyone have an suggestions what could be causing this? Could I have a bad ignition switch or fuel pump that is keeping the fuel from being pumped into the vehicle? What turns on the pump at startup, it could be something within that system. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Not sure what to say 2007, Shouldnt be anything wrong. Could have stiff parts still, That need time to break in period, I would run it into the dealership, See what they got to say.

Do you ever run it on a close to empty tank? Because that causes it to crank wrong. Check your fuel filter and keep the fuel level up. But if you dont ever run it low on gas the disregard this.

I have a 2006 chev colorado, and I have the same issue, but if I wait 5 or 10 minutes it starts fine and will behave for at least 6 months. It is frustrating because by the time it is towed in to the dealership, the truck starts fine.
