Car won't start

I have a 1997 Geo Metro, 1.3L, with 58,000 Mi. It sat in my garage for about 3Months without starting it up. Charged up the battery but could not start it. Changed the fuel filter, still won't start. Poured gas directly into carberator but only burns what is in there and then dies. I can hear the fuel pump start up when turning the ignition so I don't think it is that. Please help

May be a spark problem, since your vehicle is carbed, change the plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor button, and (single or dual) pickup plate, then your ignition coil it should run you about 45bucks total, and 20 min. Off your time, if its not a spark problem, change the fuel filter
