1994 Other Chevrolet Models WONT START

MY CHEVY C1500 extended cab 5.7 liter pickup will crank but wont start. I am trying to find the inertia switch but can not find it. Can you tell me where it is?

Front driver side firewall up on the kickwall is the most usuall location.

I was just recently told that only Ford makes have the inertia switch is that true?

By name yes, but I do belive chevy has some sort of rely such as that, it may be located under the engine compartment, I would have to see the truck.
