I put a new starter in my truck and it started right up but now four days later the truck wont start. I personally think that my batteries are dead but I just charged them up. I even put new diesel in my truck but I still dont see what the problem is. My truck is a 1992 chevrolet 1500 diesel with a 6.2 liter V8.

Batteries are prone to losing charge when they get older. You could try disconnecting them from vehicle. With a multi meter check to see if they are holing at the same voltage. If not replace them. Batteries need around 12.5 volts to start a vehicle. I say anything lower than 12.2 is on its way out. If it starts to drop lower and lower with just the meter. Then they no good. And deisel engines need a big boost to get them going.
