I have a 1965 chevy II nova 283, has new water pump, new 4-core radiator, new 160 thermostat and its running at 210 and will not come down, could I have a cracked head gasket by any chance?

How are you measuring the temp? Are you using the temp gauge? It is mechanical or electrical?

Run a compression test for the heads.

A 4 core should be more that adequate for a small block.

Also check you timing and make sure it is not running lean.
