I have a 1996 Monte Carlo 3.1 with about 150,000 miles. When we got it, it still ran we thought the only problem was the intake gasket and needed a new battery. We replaced all gaskets an oil change and antifreeze change of course. All done and put back together now it will turn over but not start. We hooked it up to a diagnostic computer and the car computer is telling the car it is running when it really isn't. If you could please help me figure out what it could be. Thanks Hannah

You need to go back to basic troubleshooting. Recheck that the wires are in the right order, and everything has been connected up properly.

If everything is good, start by checking for fuel and spark being present. IF so, compression test cylinders.
