This morning the security light came on and I didn't know why. I turned the car off and went to start it again and there was nothing. It wouldn't turn over at all. There wasn't any clicking noise like when a starter goes out. There wasn't any warning as the radio and lights dimming to make me think that it was the alternator. So what could it be?

Hello, check the basics, battery and cables. You could do some testing at the starter relay in the power distribution center, under the hood. Have you tried jumper cables? Cranking in neutral?

The theft system should only effect your fuel injectors, not the starter.
